First the good news:
I played another practice singles match last night in the sweltering heat and humidity and won 6-1, 6-0. This was against my friend Albert who won our club's C tournament in December 2005. I played an almost perfect match. At this point I'm feeling very very confident with my game.

I haven't exactly followed up with my plan to train intensely leading up to the Seattle Evergreen tennis tournament which starts on July 1 and I haven't gotten out on the courts as much as I wanted to.

I need to start training for The Seattle Evergreen tournament (my tennis club's annual big event) and am fighting apathy right now. I want to get to the gym at least 2 days a week for weight and strength training and play 3-4 hours a week in between.
